Your Plan of Action

Let's begin with the day and night before --


1. Purchase enough food for The Three Day so foods you need will be available!
If you have to, put cookies, crackers, snacks into a cupboard or a box where you can't see them. PLAN for lunches, snacks, meals and drinks in the morning or the night before.

2. The night before -- Prepare your foods. Wash fruit and veggies, clean and chop a large bowl of salad, bag carrots and celery, etc. BE READY! Or you can purchase already washed and chopped foods at the grocery store.

** It can be very therapeutic to wash fruits and vegetables, chop salad fixings, and prepare a few servings of protein. It can take 15 mins or 30 mins. It is time well spent because when you wake up in the morning, your foods will be ready for you to grab and go. No Excuses. You can reach for an apple, enjoy a hard boiled egg, pop a few grapes, etc.

The simpler you keep this THREE DAY CHALLENGE the better, unless you want to be creative. Keep the foods handy and within reach. You can basically eat anything from the list at any time. Stop eating 3 hours before you go to bed.

If you eat lunch away from home, you can certainly eat at a restaurant. However, take charge by asking how foods are prepared. No dressings, gravies or sauces, and no fried or fast foods.

3. The night before -- Take one serving of intestinal flora at bedtime, and your psyllium/digestive stimulator as directed. (This is OPTIONAL!. Please consult your MD, if you have a condition that requires a medically prescribed program, or have questions.)

4. EVERY MORNING Upon Rising ... Drink 2 glasses of room temperature water with 1/2 lemon squeezed into each glass. DO THIS 20 MINS. BEFORE YOU EAT. It stimulates the liver to secret bile for elimination, dissolves uric acid and helps with stomach problems.

ANOTHER OPTION is to drink 2 ounces of aloe vera juice. (I use George's)

5. FOR THREE DAYS -- You eat any fruit, veggie, a small amount of brown rice, 10 - 15 almonds or 5 - 8 walnuts, and 1 - 2 (3 ounces) servings of lean meat/fish.chicken/egg. Enjoy as much fruit or vegetable and rice as you want. When you feel hungry, grab an apple, a salad or a sweet potato.

Use a small amount of oil for cooking or sauteeing.

You may steam, saute, grill or bake. NO FRIED FOODS.

Foods for another day -- Rest your body from dairy, high/saturated fats, sugar, salt, processed foods and all flour products (bread, pasta, cookies, cake, etc). Avoid all complicated foods, such as meat loaf, or sauces. No bottled dressings.

Drink 8 - 10 glasses of filtered water. If you have to, drink a glass every hour or two.
You can drink tea or coffee (without sweetners or milk).

6. AT NIGHT -- Take your digestive enzyme or stimulator and the flora. Drink a large glass of water. You may want to do this an hour or so before bed time so you sleep all night.

That is it! My best suggestion is to be organized. Eat whole foods in their raw or slightly cooked state (excpt for the meat of course). You will be happy to did.
