Since 1993 I have trained in subconscious healing techniques, such as, Alchemical Hypnotherapy (Alchemy), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), guided imagery, and Hellinger's Family Constellation work. I stay current developing myself in new techniques and reading the research, but also in personal processing. It keeps me objective and compassionate to the nature of the human condition. I hold all struggles and problems in the highest regard.

I have been in private practice since 1993 relieving stress and anxiety in 1000's of clients.

After graduating from my Master's program, School Psychology, I realized that academic testing was not for me. I wanted to work more closely with adults and children. My next step was to pursue additional training, education, and certifications to work herapeuticallly with others. My previous training and professional work in community mental health and hospitals was under PhD supervision and compliments my current work. These early work experiences provide a foundation for change work I currently do.

Early Career Path:  I had the opportunity to work extensively in clinical settings with adults, children and infants. In Florida, I was a sought after expert in the area of child abuse prevention & treatment, and spent three years working with pregnant teens in the Polk County School District. I was director of an outreach program that serviced (at risk) new mothers and their ill, sometimes hospitalized, infants. I worked on a crisis stabilization unit with children and teens and in parent education.

I was a regular radio talk show guest on local stations, taught community college classes & presented at area conferences.
Most of my early training was in play therapies: Developmental Play, Theraplay, Ericksonian Hypnosis and Art Therapy for children.

Of Note: Because of a rash of attacks on children where I was living in Florida, I spearheaded an intuitive child/adolescent safety program. I trained hundreds of children, and entire school populations, to stay safe through intuitive self-guidance. Recently I held safety classes for teens who travel to summer camps. I also inspired a Big Sister's program for pregnant teens, and lobbied successfully for a Women's Shelter in a small town that still exists today. I served as a 'Birthing Coach' for an at-risk, unwed teen who had a natural birth using only hypnosis. (That was a empowering experience for us both!)
